AF-2G24-S45 is an airFiber X Antenna. This is connected to an airFiber X Radio for transmission in the radio range frequencies. It mainly supports point-to-point transmissions but point-to-multipoint links are also possible. The AF-2G24-S45 features a dish like design to enhance the directivity of the antenna’s signals.

AF-2G24-S45 operates at a frequency of 2.4 GHz and offers a satisfying gain of 24 dBi. It also supports slant polarization of + and – 45 Degrees so as to improve noise immunity and Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR).

The airFiber Radio can be seamlessly integrated with the AF-2G24-S45 to provide a higher frequency range of transmission. The AF-2G24-S45 itself possesses a robust design for sustaining the weather anomalies. This feature increases its durability and reliability.

The AF-2G24-S45 has a built-in airFiber Radio mount, hence it does not require any additional tools for accommodating the Radio. The dish has a size of 650mm diameter. This is area enough to accurately direct signals to their destination.

The AF-2G24-S45 has a protective covering for the cable and computing elements of the antenna and the radio. It comes with a secure pole mounting so that it retains the strength to withstand harsh weather conditions.

The Antenna, AF-2G24-S45 when integrated with a Rocket can be used to provide internet or network connectivity to multiple individual users. These connections are point-to-multipoint and they can be used to create an outdoor hotspot or internet connectivity in residential or corporate buildings. This connectivity is provided by an ISP who’s backed by an internet backbone or a cloud, either directly or indirectly.

AF-2G24-S45 is the most basic of antennas and further versions have better updates, including RF Isolation which can provide noise immunity. Although this antenna requires additional features, it is still an economic choice for the users. It can be used in networks that have moderate traffic and are simple to maintain.
