IsoStation AC: The one AC that you really need oProduct overview The Ubiquiti Networks has effectively launched its latest generation of airMAX ac CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) with dedicated Wi-Fi management, the IsoStation™ 5AC. In fact, the IS-5AC is a shielded airMAX® ac Radio equipped with an isolation antenna of its own. oProduct features The device has the following features that provide excellent value for money for its purchasers oGreatly improved noise immunity The IsoStation 5AC essentially provides very high isolation solutions in fixed beam width increments via interchangeable horn antennas that have also been efficiently optimized for working well in an urban environment. Here, the tailored antenna radiation patterns are able to spatially filter both in band as well as any ‘out of band’ hence spurious RF emissions so as to increase the overall noise immunity of the IsoStation 5AC. This feature is especially important when the device will be used in an increasingly congested RF environment. oModular Design The interchangeable antenna also substantially improves any beam shaping in terms of specific deployment needs. By default, the IsoStation 5AC includes the (by now ubiquitous) symmetrical horn antenna with 45° beam width. oScalability Any and all horn antennas are able to increase their co location performance without needing to sacrifice any gains. In this case the symmetrical horn antennas (30° and 45° versions) offer breakthrough scalability options as far as wireless systems are concerned. In fact, their unique beam performance and greater co-location characteristics also allow for a markedly higher density of sectors than their more traditional sector technology counterparts. oEnhanced Co-Location The asymmetrical horn antennas (60° and 90° versions) in this series have been designed to have bolstered and attenuated side lobes and also extremely low back radiation. They also offer the best front to back ratio in the industry as well as the lowest side lobe radiation. In fact, such asymmetrical horn antennas are ideal for cluster sector installations with very high co-location requirements. oExtended performance capability Since it is a markedly robust dish antenna, the model U OMT Dish, offers exceptional beam directivity with around 27 dBi of gain. It has also been paired with the IsoStation 5AC so as to extend the radio performance for a vastly greater number of WISP customers. Pit is able to provide really high throughput as well as an innovative form factor. The IsoStation 5AC is both versatile and cost-effective to deploy, making it the ideal partner for all of your AC related needs.
