ES-24-500W is an EdgeSwitch. This is primarily used for switching between the innumerable network connections.

The ES-24-500W supports a gigabit RJ45 port for transferring data. RJ45 is usually comfortable with RS-232 devices and may require additional converters for devices that rely on serial data.

The ES-24-500W has a non-blocking throughput of 26 Gbps and a switching capacity of 52 Gbps. A higher switching capacity indicates that a higher number of packets can be handled by the device per unit time.
